Downtown Riverside

Coffee Depot is located in the old Union Pacific Train Depot in downtown Riverside, across the street from “The Old Spaghetti Factory”.  Built in 1904, Coffee Depot happens to be Riverside’s Historic Landmark #9 and is also one of only three buildings in Riverside to be on the National Registry of Historical Places.

The first thing you will notice as you walk through the door are the over-stuffed couches and lounge chairs beckoning you to kick back and mellow out.  The furniture and decor is classy and upscale.  There are several pictures of the Depot on the walls, some were taken over a hundred years ago. 

There are quite a few rooms to hang out in.  Our Lounge, our Library, our Service Area, the Baggage Room (Concert Hall), our Upstairs Gallery and of course outside under our covered Patio. 

Coffee Depot can almost guarantee a place to sit, unless of course there are over 230 people who just happen to pop in all at the same time.

Coffee Depot opened up a second location on March 20, 2005 at the Riverside Plaza.  With over 60 businesses, Riverside Plaza is the newest and most popular outdoor mall in Riverside.

At Coffee Depot Plaza we feature over 20 different crepes that vary from delicious savory to the decadently sweet.  Our crepes are available Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.  The “El Guapo” is our most popular Breakfast Crepe.  The “Santorini” is my all time favorite Lunch Crepe.  Not in the mood for a Crepe?  We recently added omelets to our menu and they have been a huge hit!  And well, what can I say about our Waffles other than you have to try “The Hawaiian”:  Macadamia Nuts & Bananas all topped with Coconut Syrup and freshly made Chantily Cream…Yum, I’m making me hungry. 

For those of you who want to feel healthy when you eat, try our Salads.  They are really big and absolutely fresh, crispy and filling.

Our drinks are so deliciously tasty you won’t be able to stop yourself from moaning.  We will put our Mocha up against anybody else’s Mocha, that’s right, anybody’s.  If you truly want to give yourself an extraordinary treat then you need to try our Moondoggie.  We have several specialty drinks to choose from, but the Moondoggie guarantees a smile.  It has espresso, milk, chocolate, vanilla and macadamia nut.  Once you go mac, you never go back.
